Jim Semick is the co-founder of ProductPlan, a fast-growing software company based in Santa Barbara, California. For almost 20 years he has taken new disruptive software products from concept to market launch. Prior to ProductPlan he was early at AppFolio, helping determine the company’s vertical market strategy and launching the initial products. Previously, Jim validated and wrote the product requirements for the development of GoToMyPC and GoToMeeting.
Jim writes and mentors technology startups, and lectures at UCSB on topics including market validation, finding product-market fit, and business models.
